Dr. Thara D K graduated from Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in the branch of Computer Science & Engineering. She secured post-graduation with Master of Technology from AMC College Bangalore in the branch of Computer Science & Engineering. Awarded with Ph.D. degree in the field of Machine Learning and Deep Learning in the year 2022 from VTU, Belgaum. She is also serving as Professor and HOD in the department of Information Science Engineering in Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology, Tumkur, Karnataka, India.  She carries 15 years of teaching experience and has published articles in various national and international journals indexed in ACM, Scopus and Web of Science. Her research interests include data mining, data analytics, machine learning and deep learning
