Overview

The Department of Master of Business Administration (MBA) was established in the year 2010 with an annual intake of 60 students. The MBA program is a two year full time course spread over four semesters. The program is duly approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Visvevaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The course offers specializations in Marketing, Finance & Human Resource.

The MBA program aims at providing inputs to the students relevant to the business, industry and trade so that they can efficiently & effectively function in different organization and face the challenges arising as a sequel to all round development of the country.

Top priority is accorded here towards the creation of management graduates with strong fundamentals and firm basics of management. The curriculum that is followed has a balanced blend of practical and theory. Along with the prescribed syllabus, industrial visits, seminars, guest lectures, case studies and mini-projects are undertaken on a regular basis. Besides CIT faculty, a team of highly specialized resource persons are associated with the program.
