  • Students of  VIII Semester, MADHU H R , GOWRISH K G& CHETHAN GOWDA B P under the guidance of MV C KUMAR , Assoc Prof, Department of EEE, CIT, Gubbi. had participated with their project “ Solar powered multi-crop Harvester ”  and  won First  Prizewith 8,000 Cash Award.
  • Dedeepya M from the 6th semester of the EEE branch at CIT Gubbi received the top-performing ISTE chapter student award at the 18th Karnataka State Level ISTE Student Convention, which took place at Vemmana Institute of Technology on May 6, 2023. This prestigious award is a recognition of her outstanding performance, active involvement, and enthusiastic participation in ISTE student chapter activities. The award was presented by Dr. Suresh D S, the Chairman of ISTE Karnataka Section, Dr. B E Rangaswamy, the Registrar of VTU Belgavi, Dr. BP Singh, the Assistant Director of IEDS Delhi, S. Jayram Reddy, the President of Karnataka Reddy Janna Sangha, and Dr. Vijayasimha Reddy B G, the Principal of Vemana Institute.

In SRISHTI-2022 organised at B.M.S.C.E, in Bengaluru, from 25thto 27thJuly 2022.

  • Students of  VIII Semester, TEJASKRISHNA R, CHANDANA N, SHILPA D& YAJUR BHARADWAJ under the guidance of MLokanathan M S, Asst Prof, Department of EEE, CIT, Gubbi. had participated with their project “ E-vehicle and won Second Prize with  8,000 Cash Award.

Final year students have participated in “SRISTI-2022” State level Engineering students project exhibition competition held from 25th – 27th July 2022 at BMC College of Engineering and won the 1st prize for the project titled “Two Wheel Electric Vehicle With Regenerative Braking System,Self Charging & Solar Charging- Low Cost Manufacturing” under the category “New and Improved Processing Technologies”

  • In 2018, Students fromVIII semester , Abhishek B ,Mohammed Arafath , Prajwal raj S received cash prize of5000/-  from VTU for their    project “IMPROVEMENT OF POWER QUALITY IN DISTRIBUTED GENERATION SYSTEMS USING HYBRID POWER FILTERS” under the guidance of Mrs. Radha B.N.
