HOSTEL
CIT runs separate hostels for boys & girls. The boys-hostel is located on-campus while the girls-hostel is located off-campus. The hostels are managed by a warden assisted by a deputy warden residing within the hostel premises. All the hostel rooms are well furnished and healthy food is served. The students are strictly expected to abide by the rules and regulations of the hostels. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. Any deviation from the rules and regulations will result in disciplinary action which may include expulsion from the institute.

A brand new state-of-the-art cafeteria hygienically maintained caters to the needs of the staff and students. It serves nutritional and balanced food throughout the day. It is a place for the tired minds to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and engage in intellectual discussions.
CIT COOPERATIVE SOCIETY
CIT Staff and Students Consumers Co-Operative Society Limited was established in the year 2003 under the visionary forethought of Dr. D S Suresh, Director, Channabasaveswara Institute of Technology, in the college campus to cater the essential and routine stationary needs of staff, students and Parents. Dr. D S Suresh is the driving force behind the establishment of the consumer society and being instrumental in all the developments of the cooperative society. CIT Staff and Students Consumers Cooperative Society Limited registered under Co-operative Society Act 1959 section 7 (reg.no. AR 32/2002-03), functions as per the timely guidelines and standard operating procedures of the cooperative department. The Consumers Co-operative stores, caters our valuable customers daily needs like stationeries, cutlery items, uniforms, blue books, face masks and other educational aids. The Co-operative Consumers Society also has a Xerox/copier and printout facility, providing an effective and potential service for both students and staff of CIT family. The store is kept open to serve the commuters in all the working days of the college from 9.00am-5.00pm. In our campus, Students are making use of the facility to the maximum extent at the better prices. We are committed to serve the customer needs ensuring their safety by following the standard guidelines and SOPs of the government in this COVID-19 pandemic. As consumerism has emerged as part of the development process, our cooperative society is trying to meet all the expectations and striving hard to uphold this prestige by serving our customers better.
