KNEW 2025
The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering successfully conducted a national level technical symposium K-NE-W 2K25 on April 25th and 26th 2025. The event aimed to foster innovation, creativity, and collaboration among budding engineers and technocrats. This event attracted a large number of participants from various colleges across the region.
The symposium was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Nilesh Naik, Sr. Director of Engineering, Cradlepoint, Part of Ericsson, Bengaluru, along with guest of hounor Mr. Dilip D Murkumbi, Director, Technology and Transformation, Deloitte, Bengaluru. and other dignitaries on the dais. In his keynote address, Dr. Nair emphasized the transformative power of artificial intelligence and encouraged students to engage in research and entrepreneurship.
The symposium featured a wide array of technical events, including:
- Buildathon
- Paper Presentation
- Poster Presentation
- Hobby Project Exhibition
- CAD Modeling
- On Spot Programming
- Circuitrix
The highlight of the day was the Buildathon-2K25, where over 100teams were showcased their talent and made it a grand success.
The symposium concluded with a valedictory function, where prizes were distributed to the winners of various events. The event was a grand success, thanks to the combined efforts of faculty coordinators, student volunteers and sponsors. The event wise details like registration form, evaluation details, results sheets and etc are enclosed herewith for kind reference and perusal.

NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM
The Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology (CIT) was established in the year 2001 with the objective of providing quality technical education. The Institute is affiliated to VTU, Belagavi, Karnataka, approved by AICTE New Delhi, accredited by NAAC with B+ and ISO 9001:2015 Certified. The institute in the period from 2001-2019 secured various University ranks in all the disciplines and the proud recipient of “Excellent Engineering Institute in Rural India” Award 2016 and “Most Promising Engineering Institution” Award 2018. We are happy to inform you that since from 2003 we are conducting KNEW and this year institute is conducting 17th National level technical symposium KNEW-2019 for UG / PG Students of discipline CS/ISE/ECE/EEE/ME/CIV on -18th and 19th October 2019.
Knowledge Network Workshop- A National level Technical Symposium- 28th & 29th December 2021
K-NE-W 2021, a National level technical symposium was organized by Channabasaveshwara institute of technology, Gubbi on 28th & 29th December 2021.Various events such as Paper presentation , Hobby project, CodeSprint, CAD modeling, Poster presentation and Circuitrix were conducted .Nearly 280 participants from various colleges registered using the link www.knew2021@cittumkur.org and events were evaluated according to respective rules and regulations.
