The Department Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organize a 6 day’s workshop on Group’s Puzzles and Algorithmic Mysteries for 4th semester students from 12-05-25 to 16-05-2025.
The department conducted one day workshop on Block chain Technology and its Application on March 03, 2025.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Association with Computer Science and engineering and Information Science and engineering Gubbi Organized ROBOMANIA on 27 March 2025. The ROBOMANIA 2K25 has witnessed an overwhelming response, with 75 plus teams from various colleges across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andra Pradesh.
6th Sem students of AI &DS Participated in Industrial Visit toU R Rao satellite center, Bangalore on 18th Feb 2025.By visiting U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), students got exposure to satellite design, development, and testing. They got knowldege about ISRO’s space missions, satellite applications, and advanced space technologies through expert interactions.The experience provides valuable insights into aerospace engineering,Intership and career opportunities in space research.
A visit to KrishiVigyan Kendra, Hirehalli organised to 3rd sem students as a part of Social Connect and Responsibility activity on 16/10/2024. The objective of this visit is to actively engage students in sustainable practices such as plantation, organic farming and water management.
The AI Club Inauguration followed by a Technical Talk on “Generative AI Tools & Advanced AI by 4th Sem Students, “The Mind Fizz” by AI Club Coordinators and Technical Talk on “SDWAN by Mr. Srinivas R C, Technical Specialist, Alcatel Lucent, Bengaluru was held for the students of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science on 19th July 2024 at Auditorium. The event was organized to encourage participation in the AI Club and to highlight its importance.

VI semester students visited STPI Bangalore for an Internship awareness program on IOT and open labs on 19th of June 2024.
Chandan R M(1CG21AD008), Rakesh T S(1CG21AD033) and Mahanthesh J R((1CG21AD020) of 6th Sem participated in 19th ISTE students convention held at PES college Mandya on 7th June 2024 ,secured 2nd place and won cash prize of Rs 9000/- in SUMO ROBO.
Tejaswini S, Assistant Professor, Department of AD organized a Workshop on “AI chatbot creation and Integration using Mobile App” for 4th sem students on 4th of June 2024.

Chandana P (1CG22AD008) 4th semester Dept. of AD got 1st prize in “Business Plan Completion” organized by Department of Information and Science Engineering in association with Institution’s innovation Council,Infy Challengers club and Department of Business Administration on 29th May 2024. One day workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights & IP Management for Start Up” in association with Institution Innovation Council (A Ministry of Education Initiative) of Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology organized a session (IIC ACTIVITY WORKSHOP) by Nagarjun M G, Project Associate, Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology, IISc Campus Bangalore(Session I) and Ms. Priyanka Patent Agent & Project Associate KSCST(Session II)for Second Semester AD & ISE students on 19th April 2024.
The objective of the program is to make students understand the key characteristics of an Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and Patent Filing. The session commenced with an overview of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and Patent Filing and its significance in the business world.
The 5th-semester students Chandan R M (1CG21AD008) and Lekhan K (1CG21AD018) participated in the IdEEEas 2024, a National Level Technical Symposium organized by IEEE, SIT Student Branch at SIT, Tumkur on 25th April 2024 and won first prize in Robotics (Roborace).
Technical Talk on “Data Science” was held on 2nd March 2024 at IC Lab from 10.00 AM to 02.30 PM for the students of Third Year IT stream.
The objective of the program is to make students introduced to the role of the Data Scientist and to understand the role of basics or experienced professionals seeking insights into advanced topics and applications in data science.
MOOC Coordinators Workshop
Visvesvaraya Technological University organized MOOC Coordinators workshop at BNMIT, Bangalore on 16th February 2024 to discuss various MOOC activities conducted for the students by VTU.
This workshop covered different MOOC Courses offered under VTU-COE like Honours,Minors,
Certificate Courses, Skill enhancement Courses offered to VTU students. Students can enroll the
courses from https://online.vtu.ac.in.
Industrial Visit to “ITI LIMITED”, Bangalore Plant for the students of 5th Sem on 8th Feb 2024.
The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the functioning of a leading Telecommunications and Information Technology Company.
Students Visited Different Departments of ITI Limited like SMT Line, PCB Manufacturing, Telecom Testing Lab, HDPE Pipe Manufacturing, Injection Moulding, 4G, 3D Printing.
