DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION

The E & C Department was started in the year 2001 with an intake of 60 which subsequently increased to 90 in the year 2004 and to 120 in the year 2006 with a vision of providing quality education and to develop the technocrats.

In the year 2009 Computer Science and Engineering department was Accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

Electronics aims at making the life of human beings comfortable. Communication brings them together.

There are unlimited employment opportunities in the exciting field including many related to self employment. The vast application of electronics and the rapid advancement in the field of communications makes the study of this branch a coveted option. Areas of special interest are broad band digital communication, special purpose signal processors and signal processing techniques to tackle the needs of audio/video processing, commercial communication and in medical field.

The department has well equipped laboratories with latest version of MATLAB, DSP Kits and VLSI software packages to meet the curriculum requirements and also research facilities within the campus like, Electronic devices & Circuits, Communication Engineering, Integrated Circuits Lab, Microprocessors & Microcontrollers, VHDL, VLSI, DSP etc.

The association of ECE and ISTE-Student Chapter provides a platform to the students to expose their skills and brain power.
