    Paper must be presented by an individual or a group of Four (Maximum)
    Papers related to the event theme are highly encouraged

    Should not add page numbers and headers/footers in the paper
    Presentation Time is: 10 + 02(Q&A) mins

  • Presentation (PPT) Guidelines
    You will have 10 minutes for your talk, followed by 2 minutes for Q&A.
    Design your slides to fit the time frame and practice to make sure you will not run out of time.

    Additional slides (Backup slides) could be prepared to support possible answers to attendees' questions.

    A team can have a maximum of 2 members
    Only IT projects are considered for further approval(Student of any stream can propose projects on IT domains like IOT, Cloud, Robotics,Web etc)
    Qualifying participants will have to give a demo of their project before a panel of judges and report of the same should be submitted(No restriction on the number of pages)
    Only Completed and fully working projects are considered for the final demo
    Teams will be given a space to set up their model/design at the venue for judging. Participants should bring all their requirements
    The decision of the judges shall be treated as final and binding on all

    A team shall consist of two persons
    The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments
    There will be two main rounds based on the number of teams registered:-Preliminary round & - Stage Rounds
    Top 6 teams from preliminary round will be selected for the stage rounds
    The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change

  • Poster must be presented by an individual or a group of two (Maximum)
    All Authors must be present during the presentation
    The ideal poster may be designed, to provide a brief overview of the work, Initiate discussion and questions
    Pictures, diagrams, cartoons, figures etc., can also be used rather than only text wherever it is possible
    Maximum of 2 Thermocol sheets will be provided to display the posters with each of the size of 1.5ft x 3ft
    Participants should make their own arrangements for other requirements like Push pins, Velcro/cellophane tapes etc
    No mechanical or electrical devices attached to the poster
    All the authors for the poster presentations need to present their topic orally
    The font size should be large enough, so that it can be readable from 1 meter distance
    Avoid hand drawn materials
    A banner displaying your poster title, name, department, and college should be positioned at top-center of the board
    Make it obvious to the viewer how to progressively view the poster. The poster generally should read from left to right, and top to bottom. Numbering the individuals panels, or connecting them with arrows is a standard "guidance system"
    The poster must NOT be a commercial/product sales poster. Any poster that is deemed to be a commercial advertisement will be removed from the event as unacceptable

    • It is an individual participant event
      Participants have to clear prelims before going to main contest
      Main contest will be conducted for 2 and half hours
      Winners will be chosen based on the approach towards problem solving / code debugging
      Only C language need to be used under Linux environment

      The team size limit is 2.
      The contest is for novel and innovative mobile applications utilizing any computing architecture (stand alone, client/server, client/proxy/server, peer-to peer/ad-hoc, cloud/mobile, others)
      All applications must be demonstrated on real devices and on off-the-shelf operating systems, i.e., the phone should not be jailbroken or rooted
      Bonus points will be assigned to apps that can be directly downloaded from an app store
      We are not responsible for lost, corrupted, illegible or delayed entries or for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict during the contest
      The proposal should be in PDF format, no longer than 1 page, and should include the following within this 1 page:
      -Name of the application
      -Author(s) names and contact email
      -Target user groups
      -Application description (the idea)
      -Innovation and/or uniqueness in marketing (list of similar or related apps in market)
      A link to a short video (< 3 mins) which includes a marketing pitch and demo of the application on a real device. The video should be made available only to the jury during the judgment period (should not be made public)
      Binary build of the application and installation guide. For instance apk file for Android
      Judgment is based on perceived value and importance, quality of user experience and originality and innovation of the application

      A team of two participants are allowed
      Participants are given theme for designing Webpage in HTML & CSS. They have to design the webpage with their innovative ideas
      Competition is of two hour
      Participants are given a computer, can browse internet only to download images
      Direct copy of code from internet is discouraged
      Participants having innovative design of their webpage will win
      Judges decision is final
